Ok...I am with Verizon and they have 3G and fixing to upgrade to 4G in our area. But I don't think I'm running the 3G
In my top right corner it shows I am 1XEV. I'm not real sure if I need to turn it on or what. When I go to my "Mobile Network" it shows the
"Data Service = On" / "Network Selection = Automatic" / 'Network Technology = Global" , I guess this is all correct. How can I know if I'm getting 3G?

A simple search.

Either way, if it says 1XEV all caps it is 3G. If its only 1X or 1xev your not in 3G.
