    Hi,

I noticed the ability to have a 3 way conversation but I cannot get it to work. I phone 1 of my mates, then put them on hold while I another mate. I then press the join button, but it never works and connects us all together.

Do we all have to own a blackberry for this function to work?

    Thanks in advance

I don't think this issue has anything to do with owning a blackberry. I use this feature when I speak to my friends a lot.

    Check with your carrier..

I totally agree on what anitsh1202 stated. I use it at times with my friends and family and never had an issue with it.

Cool I have posted the same on the vodafone eforum. Does this feature need to be enabled in any way?

    Thanks

Your carrier may have the feature disabled until you pay for it. Depending on your SP, it could be from 2$-10$ (Or more!), depending on the number of lines involved.

Is your wireless account setup with the 3-way calling feature? It should be included as an included feature on most networks, but may have been missed in the account setup process.

Here you go johnny i copy the info from the thread this gotta help you out for sure.
    1. Dial your first call using the address book or dial it with the keypad, or await someone else calling.
    2. When the two lines are connected, press the Talk button, or the green call button.
    3. On this screen, type the name or number you want to call. Then press the Talk button again.
    4. Once you are connected with the third line, press the Menu button.
    5. Once the window is opened, press the option that says, Join.
    6. The two calls are now connected.
    7. To disconnect from one caller but not the other, press the Menu button again.
    8. Go to the End Call option.
    9. A new screen will pop up asking you who you want to disconnect.
    10. Chose the caller you would like to disconnect.
    11. You have disconnected them.
