Zen Collection made for BerryWeather 2.0
- Any chance of making an 8-icon version that has the icon names on it (like the default Zen theme)? Some of us are more textual based. :-)12-10-09 11:09 AMLike 0

- So do a lot of you work outside or something? I'm trying to figure out the importance of having up-to-the-minute weather reports as opposed to passively checking when it's relevant. I spent years working outdoors and checking every few hours was more than adequate, is there a cool factor involved? =P12-10-09 12:14 PMLike 0
- Zaxxon, glad you mentioned that. Not sure if i told you or not in our emails but i'm working on just that. I will be adding Berryweather and Quick Launch hotspots to the top of the theme. I plan on releasing it this weekend some time.
Dont worry everyone, all upgrades are free. You will receive automated emails once released.12-10-09 01:26 PMLike 0 -

- Update 2.1: Added BerryWeather and QuickLaunch hidden hotspots to middle of home screen. Added weather slot to Home Screen Landscape mode. Remember to put you favorite weather App in slot 15 on your App screen. This will insure that it shows on your lock screens and landscape screen.

12-11-09 08:18 AMLike 0 - Just purchased this theme, installed, configured after reading the initial post for this thread.
Really disappointed that the three icons in landscape mode cannot be modified.
If those could be I would be able to recommend this as a great theme.
In landscape mode:
Since BB Messanger is not installed on my phone the location in the first slot is blank.
I put all the sms/text messages in with the main messages, so that is a useless icon as well. Glad at least one is usefull in landscape mode (browser). I am tempted to disable the landscape mode using tilt lock but for longer calendar message items the landscape mode is better for viewing.
I understand that this theme is still new. Hopefully it can be updated to allow configuring the icons in landscape mode. Should be mapped to a location instead of hard linked to an app.
I am surprised that custom theme builders have not created an interface config page that allows a user to select the apps linked to icons instead of guessing where they tie to. (I do not think RIM should be responsible for this if it is a custom theme...)
Maybe it would slow down the responsiveness of the phone though.
When I install a new theme it can take 5-10 minutes to get everything functioning properly this should only take a minute.12-20-09 07:44 PMLike 0 - Just purchased this theme, installed, configured after reading the initial post for this thread.

The reason i decided to not make it customizable is because i felt it was pointless and a waste of icon space to have the same three icons on the portrait screen and the landscape screen. You do realize that if i did make it customizable the first three apps on your app screen would show up on portrait screen and landscape screen.
Thousands of people buy themes each day (just a guess) and they all have different likes and dislikes. Speaking for my self i find it hard to decide what to put in to a theme that will please the majority of people. I know i cannot please everyone but i do try to post as much info about the theme before people buy it.12-20-09 08:34 PMLike 0
