Jax, you are a guru of the theme world. Please figure out the BW thermometer problem.
This theme is soooo great but that stinkin lil thing hurts me every time I look at it.
I know you can figure it out. :)

really nice work - the X1 was wonderful already . . . but the change of Icons (expecially the Droid) are a nice improvement.
What happens if you utilize WeatherBug or one of the other freeware weather services - will everything else function properly without the weather wallpaper?
I had a strange issue when I DL'd the droid version the 2nd time. I had it, deleted it trying to find the source of my memory leak, then DL'd it again. The 2nd time around I only had 2 folders. Some of the settings links from within the "options" menu are now on my home screen. Screen/Keyboard, Custom Dictionary, and a couple others.
Findings/questions:
As previously stated, I'm a fan of your original X1 . . .
With the droid version there are two things that stand out as oddities:
*doesn't seem to be any hotspot on the home screen that triggers the full application screen . . . . you did have it on the original
* when touching (not clicking) on the email button on the bottom of the screen, the black background box drops down . . . . doesn't seem like an intended feature . .
homescreen hotspot is berryweather.. unless you have that it wont do a thing ..
the email issue -- idk -- dont have that prob .. now if an sms comes thru -- you wont see it if its a response to an sms or a "convo -- in progress_ due to the threaded style sms .. other than that -- i see emails and mms on touch via drop down box ..
1. The berryweather area is where the app button was. figured for this one, the bb button would suffice.
2. email button focusin event triggers the today screen so it needs the backdrop to come into focus at that point, there is no way to tell it to just come in when there are messages to view.
2.
Go to reset theme defaults. That has helped others.
The button in the middle will activate berrywether if you have it, else it does nothing.
Did it!!! I had to reset the notification are height to the default value. Even if you make it bigger, it still act like it is smaller. Thats what was messing me up.

I had faith in you. :)
This is the first free theme that I absolutely love. Don't get me wrong, there are many nice free themes. Most you have played a part in but I LOVE this one.
Thanks.
Don't forget to change the date in the op for the updated version.

I got what might be a newbee question but when I set weather berry 2.0 as my home screen, my home screen goes black even when I turn off backdrop. What am I doing wrong?
Thats a good question, I will look into it and see if I can find out. Do you have the wallpaper set to Berryweather? You may need to go to your pictures folder and set it as the wallpaper.
Of course that makes sense . . . . but today I had icon indicators telling me I had received 2 email messages & 1 FB message; touching the messages hotspot brought down the black backdrop by itself without the new messages. I'm sure that's not the way you designed it.
Did I find something you weren't aware of? fyi - I do not have BW installed; is this a byproduct of that (although I can't imagine that this should be a dependence).
The today area should show your emails..not sms or facebook so it should have shown the messages for email you have as well as bring down the backdrop, but it will bring down the backdrop no matter what on focus. Not having berryweather should have nothing to do with it. I am not having the same problem on my phone so it is hard to determine what could be the problem.

I know it's weird, but it is indeed happening . . . I have a screenshot that I'm sending you - you can see it for yourself.
I don't deny that you have a problem...I will check the theme tonight when I get home to see if there is something that got messed up. I'll do my best.

Go to BW2 settings..to wallpaper settings...now go the very bottom of that page and select image...and use a wallpaper you have stored in your media card.

Messages and dropdown box working just as it is supposed to for me...now if you have a seperate app for email notification and you acknowledge the email reciept it won't show as new mail in any theme...its not in the theme where the issue lies. Again...working just fine here.

Woohoo. I ended up using the TRIAL verson of BW, and I will purchase Friday. merry christmas to me.
Will I have to pay for BW for each update?
I love love love it! and I am a SERIOUS theme snob..
Thanks, I'm glad you love it!
For BerryWeather you should get updates for free up until they go to version 3, as that is how most software makers have it. Any update 2.x is free if you purchase version 2.x.
Extremely well done! Kudos!
