Who has done it? I was thinking about doing it with BBSAK. What are the reprocussions if any and which exact file(s) needs to be removed. Are there more that just one??? How big is the actual theme size wise. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!!!

If I do it and just download 3rd party themes will they still go to the same folder???

I think I recall an OP posting one time they used Shrink a OS and removed the Zen theme. They ended up with an all white screen.

I would just leave it be. I don't think this theme uses that much memory.

You can do it, but you can also get errors if you do

Correct, if you remove the only stock theme on the BB most likely you will be left with a white screen, even if you have after market themes.

There's a screenshots somewhere around here of a guy that did this and he only had a red screen with a bunch of micro icons at the top of the screen that were unusable.

I have done it and YES that is what happens - you are left with a white or red screen with icons that are recognizable and unsuable and the theme option is gone from the options menu so cannot even get to the other themes even though you load them with BBSAK or DM. Very frustrating position to be in.

I read somewhere on the blackberry web site that if you remove the stock theme you cannot run any 3rd party themes and you are left with a very basic theme to use.

The stock theme is essential to running any other theme. And to get it back, you have to wipe and reload the OS. Period.

Yep, that's true. You'll need the precision theme to make other sections of your phone run properly

Here is what it looks like when the default theme is removed.

you can just re-add the default theme like howarmat said, you might have to go into options and activate it once it is reloaded.
