Dang it I just searched through this thread as well as others but I can't find the fix that I know was posted on this issue. I would try deleting and re installing the theme to see if that fixes the issue. It must be a setting I assume since I have never had this problem on any today theme I have used. Actually on that note let me post my setting and see if they match with yours before you delete and re install.

This is for sure not a problem ONLY with AppleBerry. I think Zazzi hit it on the head with some sort of link to QuickLaunch causing this. I have two old messages I know were sent using QL & they're the only two that weather OS updates, battery pulls, theme changes etc. Maybe CA will have a fix when v2.0 comes out (if he's even aware of it).

I have tested & confirmed that sms's sent through QL if not deleted continues to show up in the Today portion of themes. Nice catch Zazzi!

I'll make a post in the QL v2.0 beta forum & hope CA can address it.

    Hey there,

This theme is available on the BlackBerry Storm and the Curve 8900. If you have an older Curve (8300 series) you can check out the AppleBerry thread in the 83XX theme forum for information on it, however it will not be out for two weeks or so. I'm focusing solely on the Storm for the next 4-5 days while I put the finishing touches on the updates.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

Not from what I've seen. But then, I've been using this theme for so long, I may have just gotten used to it. I used Ecruz's Ubuntu theme for awhile though, and didn't notice any significant difference one way or another in how the two themes depleted battery.

As far as I am aware, this cannot be done in any theme, unfortunately.

Yes it is possible it is just up to the developer if they want to or not Some dev's don't do it do to it adding more mb to the file size.

Wait, you can create a theme so that each user can select their own landscape background? Or do you just mean that the theme dev can make it so that the landscape mode has a different background relative to the default Precision Zen? I thought the question was relating to the former, but I could be mistaken.

I thought they were talking about the theme developers changing it LOL. Well we are both right it just depends on what the question was.
