If the leather background on the App screen was replaced it could account for easily 70-80% of the file size reduction. Since the portrait mode wallpaper is separate from the landscape mode wallpaper, it's actually like removing two wallpapers in one shot.
But like I said I'm working on it, so we'll see what happens.
I hope you keep the blue backgrounds.

hastings, before you go to bed, i asked earlier in the thread and didn't see a response about the stuttering when the apps on the home screen bounce.
also, i had a suggestion that in glass the stack icons shake sideways. i think it would be a nice effect.
Hey SourD,
What OS are you running? Mine don't stutter, but they did until I installed .114. It actually began occurring when I started using the Stacks, I assume the SVG file became too complex and the Storm couldn't keep up. This may get smoother after I finish rebuilding it from scratch with the final release of Plazmic.
As for the shaking icons in the stack, it's a possibility but as mentioned above, I have to keep the SVG as lean as possible.

i'm actually running the .114 hybrid as well. they stutter every time. before that it was 103 that i first tried glass on and think i had the same problem. i'll report back after the out of plazmic beta glass version is out.
I got another question for ya. does customizing the top bar to open certain items increase the svg size? (i know nothing about theme building).
if it doesn't, it'd be cool if the top bar can become a launcher of sorts. with the time opening up the clock. maybe the network signal opening up quicklaunch and battery opening options.

just throwing some ideas out.
agree would be cool if clicking the time in the bar opened the clock app. if click the network/battery would be neat if it opened up status from options.
Having a Problem. Downloaded AppleBerry Glass 1.1 - Today, WeatherBug (shows calendar and messages on homescreen, with WeatherBug) and my weatherbug is cut off. The temperature is cut off only shows the high and low. HELP.
