would it be totally impossible to tackle a landscape idea on this one?
Not totally impossible, but I dont think the landscape homescreen feature was incorporated efficiently with Theme Studio. It hogs up tons more resources to have a second homescreen, especially a second homescreen with another SVG file attached to it...also I have noticed there are alot of bugs when switching between landscape/portrait with complex SVG files...

Those are just my reasons for not doing it :\
true. but some themes work well with just a basic today landscape screen. whether it be calendar or messages with a couple icons added. it worked decently well. I know with rorshacks miro he had it and it seemed to work well.
Any possibility on a place for user defined icons? for apps and folders and stuff?
Ya, that teaser I have posted is just the "Inbox Center" section...when you close that whole section all those polaroids and today section and buttons slide away and you will be back at your default homescreen which I am planning to have user defined icons placed...how many and where I dont know yet...
So I slightly redid the left and right arrows (made them more clean, vibrant) and added some graphics to give it background...
The first picture is before the change, the next is after the change
