i use my themes i had on storm1, on storm 2 but,they get white spaces on the sides when i turn phone side ways.Is there any way to fix that?
Thank you for your time in advance..OH and the icons on the sides become corupted,,plz help

O.K. - I am no expert (pretty far from it in fact) but here's the situation as I understand it from my own research.

It's not a Storm1 v Storm2 issue - it's an OS 5.0 related issue and you'd see the exact same behavior on a Storm1 with the new 5.0 OS on it (ask me how I know *L*)

There are several threads related to "fixes" and workarounds that may or may not work with the theme you have and if you reboot the phone you will have to re "fix" it.

The only true fix will come with a release of a patch or upgrade to Plazmic (which if you're not familiar with - that is the theme development tool that everyone is using).

So for now your options are:
1) Don't go to landscape.
2) Try one of the temp fixes.
3) Stick with the default theme.
4) Tough it out with the white bars till Plazmic is fixed.

Sorry theres not better news but I'm sure Plazmic will be fixed soon. *fingers crossed*

From your home screen hit the blackberry button, blackberry button again and change the setting from 2 rows to today and hit save.
Go back into the same options and change the wallpaper to something different, change it back to 2 rows setting.
Sorry about the earlier post. On my phone it made sense.
I hope that makes it a little easier to understand.

Not just like default. Uses zen icons but has WB/MB slot and sliding dock. Up to 15 icons on home screen and hidden QL.

The only one I have seen so far that doesn't require you to jump thru 5 hoops to make it work properly is the Iris theme. Awesome theme btw.
