i will once i get some free time on my hands, I have a lot of theme ideas i am working on and I just need for this semester to finish up so I can get back to having spare time after work
Who said its a letdown? The online play and the graphics are incredible.
I just don't think it lived up to the hype. The story was an immense let down, the graphics although awesome at points (especially the atmospheric effects), could be a little flat and boring at times, texture resolution didn't look as high as I expected and a lot of the environment modeling looked low res, and from what I can tell it didn't even look like they'd enhanced it with normal mapping. 6 hour campaign for a game that's taken 4 years to make? Just as it started getting interesting it ended. I also don't understand how they managed to make the game 40GB as it really doesn't show (apart from the nice long loading times).
I also feel visually it's not any better than games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Resident Evil 5 or Gears of War 2. I'm not denying how good it looks, just that it doesn't look as good as hype would have you believe.
Don't get me wrong there was a lot that was good about it, I just can't help but be glad I finished it sooner rather than later so when I sold it I recouped a good percentage of what I spent on it. I was really looking forward to this game and should have gone with my gut when I played the demo which I found disappointing.
Saying this I'm still really interested to see how they can build on the good with Killzone 3.
