Yep, I will probably do colors but on a request basis only. I ended up making like 60 themes before that nobody wanted. lol.
Anyway, yes you can press the blank space for the application screen. I'm eating breakfast then i'll update it immediately

Yea I figured your finger covers it anyways and it says right above what you're highlighting what it is so I figured no big. Plus I wanted to make one less image file which means a smaller theme size which means no lag for you guys . I like the icons a lot more too.
