Themes are known to cause issues with memory and speed. The only real way to know if it will work is to download it and try. Sucks if you paid for it though. There are a ton of free ones that are actually pretty good. You might try Miro, Elle.
any idea why i cannot create a folder for the icon screen? on the default theme...i did it on my last storm, but for some reason on this one it will not let me. the option is there, and i name my folder and choose my icon, click add but nothing happens. the phone does not freeze it just wont work
Actually for some reason on most 3rd party themes in order to add a different folder you need to click your finger just below the add button to get it to work. Also you said it slowed your phone down alot? Did you pull the battery out and let the phone reset. Usually this solves any lag you get.
I've even had the add button issue with the default theme. Push just below the button and try it a few different times in a few different places all close to the button. It always works for me after the first couple of tries and occassionally on the first.
For whatever reason using the factory theme "add" would become highlighted but not work when pressed. Either way I tried with my new theme and it worked properly.
I also just learned the storm sucks for typing fast lol
