- Had to drop in and say that this is an awesome theme. this is now my fav. green theme out there, if only plazmic allowed for changes to media, music player.. but very cool and fast, so far so good. Good work natemz!05-18-09 11:41 AMLike 0
- Hey Nate, It is not so much a banner issue as it is a screen height one, If it is possible with the banner your using set your screen height to 35..you will actually see it bring the screen itself up but if your banner is to thick it will push it off of the top of the page...I have used many different banners and always stick with 35 as my screen height and its pretty much spot on...05-18-09 02:18 PMLike 0
- Great job on v3. I would be willing to donate if the background color could be changed from grey to white. It makes it rather difficult to use the yellowpages app as well as facebook and windows live app. Also the option to change the text color on the hidden today feature. I use light colored background images of my family and the white font is hard to read. PM me if there are changes that can be made. Othrewise great job. P.s. Is there a v2 that doesn't have memory management issues?
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com05-18-09 02:31 PMLike 0 - Interesting. Is it the homescreen banner or the app banner that has to be 35? That seems pretty limiting. If I make my banner any thinner the whole layout would change. Sucks. Oh well. I think the cutoff numbers arent that big of a deal anyways. I would rather have my banners look better.05-18-09 03:47 PMLike 0

Not 100% sure yet, but this will most likely be the final version of BBPro. I need to come up with something else for my next theme. As always, I will keep it clean and professional.05-18-09 03:55 PMLike 0 - Hey nate...your in luck!! its just the app banner...you can set your homescreen to full page if you like...doesnt matter! also your banner, and entire theme is awesome and i totally love it!!...so yes, just app page, i do landscape and portrait just to be safe

- Definitely some memory leaks when using this theme. On the regular theme, im right around 30MBs. When running this theme, i'm all over the place, dropping as low as 9 before i rebooted. and it seems to be jumping around without any usage (based on my log). was at 7MBs over night while the phone was charging.
Wil probably give this theme another day or two before I decide to go back to the normal theme. Overall, its pretty good though.05-19-09 01:28 PMLike 0 -

What OS you runnin?
I personally as well as others been doin just fine on app memory with this theme, which app memory isn't a big deal really as phone functions the same pretty much, main concern would be how often you see the hourglass at work. There is a write up about this here.. http://www.bmtenney.blogspot.com/ (very informative info throughout blog) And the phone does lose app memory when at idle ,but if you notice when you start using it the app memory will actually increase. Just a lil info I thought I would share, hope it helps...

I'm in the same boat as a lot of you. I am bad about checking my memory constantly. But I started a test in which I'm not going to to a batt pull until my phone "needs" it. I run a lot of apps and have many versions of my themes installed. I usually start at around 25 mb after a batt pull. Funny thing is, I'm down to 9mb right now after a couple days heavy use. My phones is just as fast as it is after a reboot.
All I'm saying is that we are getting bad about worrying too much about app memory. As long as you aren't seeing the spinning clock, who cares. I know some people have bad leaks with themes and some don't. And who knows what really causes the leaks in Plazmic. If we themers had a concrete reason as to where the leaks come from, we could plug em. But given the fact that Plazmic does leak memory there is nothing we can do about it.
Just my 2 cents, just try not worrying about the app memory. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.05-19-09 04:06 PMLike 0 - Great post Natemz! I deleted MeterBerry for a week to get over my memory OCD and judge performance. It was eye opening and the storm can take quite a hit in memory without slowdown.05-19-09 04:18 PMLike 0

How about something based off a white background? I find I like the contrast of a black/dark phone with a bright, clean background. Anyone else?
I made this wallpaper with a slightly shaded area for Today version, I would love to see a clean cool white theme.
thats my two cents...
But Nate, you do indeed make a great theme, nay sayers aside, I have no problems with mem leaks or performance issues. Great work.
