    Apparently enough of us have complained and official feature enhancement request is being worked on for future UEM release to allow the BlackBerry Dynamics, aka BlackBerry Control service to work with ldap directory instead of forcing the BES server to be joined to a windows domain.

    This is excellent news for those of us not running AD who are already using LDAP directory for BES/UEM user provisioning. Currently in UEM 12.6/12.6.1 if your UEM server is not joined to AD domain, BlackBerry Control service will refuse to start.

    For those curious, this enhancement is tracked under FER-8461
    Likely won't make it into 12.6.2 unfortunately
