IT Policy Status: Error
I have a remote user that is trying to activate his new Curve from Sprint on my BES small business server. I currently have 11 other BBs working like a charm on this server from Verizon, those units are all either 8830's, Pearls, or 8703's.
After wrestling with it for a while, we were finally able to get the Curve to connect to the BES, but now it shows Last Contact Time "Never" and IT Policy Status "Error".
I've had my fair share of trouble getting the OTA activation to work, but I've never seen it connect and not work.
Has anyone ever run across this?

Is his plan a BES and not BIS?

That's what he tells me, that was my first thought as well.

This was my only guess. I had something simliar happen when I first bought my BB. I told the CSR I needed a BES plan and they set my up incorrectly on BIS and could not connect. I called at&t back and they corrected my plan and then worked like a charm.
This is just my only guess. It worth the shot of him taking 5 mins to call his carrier.
