Did a upgrade from bes 4.0 to 4.1.6 exchange and since then when scheduling meetings, after the meeting has been accepted it changes the attendees for the bes users to appear as the Mailbox alias name rather than the display name. For us our Alias names are matched to the login name. This shows on outlook and the BB device.
The problem only occurs in Blackberry users and the issue does not appear for users not on the bes server. Also, is not all the meetings that have this issue showing.
Note that if the users access their mailbox through OWA, the meetings will fix themselfs after the user clicks on the meeting attendees names.
No I can't just change the alias name to match the Display name as we have too many other applications that it could affect
Help is much appreciated, call is logged with rim but they are saying 'we have never seen that before' and have passed it to the development team in Canada.
