I learned the other day direct from sources at BlackBerry that in Aug BlackBerry is going to release BES10.2

Of note, it allows you to upgrade 10 direct to 10.2 eliminating the need to upgrade to 10 to 10.1 to 10.1.1 to 10.2

You can already install BES 10.1.1 without having to install the previous BES 10 servers. I don't think this feature in BES 10.2 is anything new.

He is talking about upgrading, not installing.

The likelihood you are going to go from BES 10.0 to BES 10.2 is very slim.

    Me too!

I started rolling out Z10s as soon as they were available in April and was suckered in to believing that BES10.0 was a finished product and not a public beta. Too many users now to start again from scratch, plus Apple and Android devices on UDS. I have months of work ahead of me to migrate them on to a new server. May as well be BES10.2 if it does arrive in August.
