I'm not a BES Admin, nor to do I claim to be. It has become more of a hobby of sorts and need some assistance for an issue that is over my head.

We have a BESx 5.0 SP3 installed on a Windows Server 2003 that is running for one user who has a fairly new 9930. We have moved the Exchange and DC to a different location and therefore on a different subnet that we are connecting to via VPN. It doesn't really make sense to move or migrate the BESx to the new location. So, I would like to know if it is possible to configure the BESx to work over the VPN with the new Exchange server? If so, can anyone provide some assistance so I don't miss anything?

    Thanks in advance.

    My best,
    M. Shane Miller

yes it can work on VPN but you wont like it when VPN goes down or gets laggy

hopefully you have good speed and low ping time

As long as the BES and Exchange are still in the same Domain then it will still work.

As long as your VPN doesn't also have a firewall blocking ports internally between the subnets your user will only notice when the VPN goes down.
