    Hi Everyone,

    I'm testing BES12 (on-premises) with Blackberry 10 handsets.

I have pushed BB Work Drives out and it works a treat at accessing my SharePoint & data shares on my internal servers, including the RDP access using the BESMDS.

I have seen BES12 Cloud is an alternative to hosting the server internally myself, and obviously the BB Handsets would activate against that server if I tested that too.

Looking at screen shots of the cloud service it looks identical to the on-premises, but how does the same access back to the file server & SharePoint work if your BES isn't behind the firewall?

Is there a download that has to be installed onto my local server for the MDS connection, or is that the difference between the 2 BES products?

I've been looking for some literature on this for weeks now & cannot find anything.
Short of raising a support ticket with blackberry to ask such a trivial question, I thought I'd ask Crackberry to see if someone has installed & tested this feature yet.

With cloud you get no access to work drives etc. Only on premise.

Side note: which rdp app are you using inn your tests?
