Once I have BES 10 installed and running can I safely remove the password requires on ActiveSync and let BES manage that?

I bought a Samsung Note 4, I noticed with the normal ActiveSync creds enabled that I lost the functionality of the fingerprint reader which I hope I can get back with UDS, but I think I will need to disable the password setup on ActiveSync still, no?

    Thanks,

I don't have pass code enabled for my S5 in UDS and the fingerprint reader works fine. I don't have any policies enabled within activesync.
