    There are different model variations for the Q5, the models go SQR100-X. Look at the supported radio frequencies of each X=[1,5]

    X=[1-3] for the Q5, not [1-5].

    And OP, the one that should theoretically work with 100% on Cricket's GSM network is the SQR100-1. I say theoretically because I haven't tried it myself, so I don't know how well the APN imports OTA, or if it can be entered manually (after all, Cricket is an AT&T sub now.)

    I purchased the SQR100-3 Blackberry Q5 model (running 10.2.1.2977 OS version) and it works perfectly with a Cricket (AT&T MVNO) MicroSIM card. I've not had any issues... so far. Nothing to configure on the phone either. Literally just inserted the MicroSIM after activating the service and it was up and running.

    Side Note: I also used Simple Mobile (T-Mobile MVNO) for several months and it worked perfectly as well. I switched to Cricket just to get better network coverage in some more rural areas in which I travel. But it's nice to know I have at least two network choices that work well with the Q5.
