Settings Wi-Fi shows connected but I have a rotating circle. I do have a Wi-Fi symbol on my home screen. What does the rotating circle mean?

Beemer2 I have the same problem, did you ever get it fixed. I even left my wi-fi overnight, and spinning circle was there.
Went to Public Wi-Fi, and spinning circle was there too.

Have you tried restarting the phone by holding the power button?

I've had the rotating issue since last os update.
And it is always rotating when wifi is on.
Must not be good on my battery life.

Some people are reporting that they have the wifi signal showing but the phone isn't using wifi. Maybe it's all part of a bug BBRY will have to issue an update for?

I have done the powering down for the 3 seconds. and then re-start. I have also done the battery removal, which I believe is the same as powering down for 30 seconds. Still spinning circle while connected to wi-fi. Fettucine may be right about the genesis of this problem from last big OS update.

Some are reporting other wifi issues fixed out of the blue. And there is a small update out for some.
