    Looking through the Bell site to see if the Z30 was up for pre orders, I noticed the price for the Q5 was at $99 up from $ 49 I can't understand why you would raise the upfront cost of a poor selling phone. The two major problems for BB are lack of apps and pricing on a start up OS. I don't see the benefits for the price hike, but I can see the downside WTF!!!

    poor selling phone? lack of apps? pricing? < by the way i do agree on the pricing issue bit dumb but the lack of app you can just sideload android apps plus the phone is 4G what more do you expect? :S

    The 4GB RAM makes running Google Android applications a moot point. BlackBerry should offer an 8GB version of the BlackBerry Q5 .

    I suspect moreso that they're probably trying to liquidate remaining Z10 stock and don't want the Q5 to seem like a more affordable option.
