Deleted all installed and removable apps, removes sim card and SD card, still showing 713 mb there, 1,79 GB free when I start the download of the 401 mb and the whole install fails around 86%. What else can I remove?

And if Link fails use .2474 autoloader.

Tried to update OTA my Q5 several times. Deleted apps for free memory, nothing helps. This did it for me:

    - Complete backup with BlackBerry Link
    - Restart my Q5
    - Now update OTA worked
    - Complete restore with BlackBerry Link, incl. all media files

All apps and their adjustments were restored, except one beta android app, which i had to install manually. All adjustments of BB10 were restored, but we have a system with high security:

You have to login new in all your accounts, and Q5 asks you for the permisions of all your apps!

So this takes some time, but after all you can see your android apps running a lot more faster than before.

For some reason this update requires 1.2GB of free space even if it's only 400MB and that's when updating through BBLink not OTA. Usually we say you need 3 times more free space then what's the size of the update but in this case I guess it rebuilds whole OS or something.

Do a backup and security wipe lol. I just updated my new q5 at first try (out of the box) it didn't work. Then I did a security wipe. I didn't backup because it's new l. Then install the update it's gonna take 2.5Gb or so.
While u still have ur previous os so basically u have 2 OS on ur system memory, my SYSTEM memory while downloading the update went up to 4.5gb . But the old OS will get deleted when your phone restarts after the update succeded.
