I'm not one for leaks, so I'm patiently waiting for the official release of 10.3 for the Q5. The passport launch has been and gone, is there any speculation on when we'll get 10.3?

I would change your sig to 10.3.1.632. Usually one displays his/her OS version, and not the SW version. Just sayin'.

We won't get 10.3. 10.3 only for passport. We will definitely get 10.3.1.

Probably it will come out a week after the Classic release which is scheduled for around the 20th of November.

Sorry to burst your bubble people, but while 10.3.1 is going to be announced as the launch os for the classic we wont likely get it till some point in 1Q 2015, unless you load it up yourself

If I was taking decisions in BlackBerry, I wouldn't let the Q n Z series phones have it.

It just doesn't make business sense.

The newer phones like the passport and the classic would only carry the .3 updated bbx update.

That way I would get atleast 30% of you to upgrade to the 10.3 phones much earlier than expected.

And also do irreparable harm to the company's already tattered reputation/image. BlackBerry can not afford to provoke the wrath of it's puny 0.5% marketshare by cutting off support to devices that aren't even 2 years old yet (Q10 launched May 2013 and the Z30 was launched Oct 2013).

In all honesty, I'm glad you're not calling the shots. BlackBerry wouldn't last a quarter with you at the helm.

Blackberry needs to differentiate itself from android and apple.

They need to rebuild brand loyalty.

Given how well 10.3.0.1154 runs on my z10 it's looking like it's not a lot of work to add the rest of the line up

Another reason why they always care about older products is because businesses, which happens to be their primary customers, do not update the phones of their employees frequently. I read in the papers that certain companies in India were still giving Curve devices to its employees.

Redo the phone. Back it up, wipe it. Boom, new machine.
