I just updated to 10.3.0.675 but the battery drain is really disturbing. How do I correct it? Or what's the best 10.3 update for Q5.

You're using the leak version coz the official 10.3 update will be next year. And since it's a leak version, expect some problems.

10.3.1.1016 and 10.3.1.1154 have been rock solid for me in terms of performance and battery life on the Q5. The only issue I've noticed is the WiFi reception seems to have dropped considerably from 10.2.1, but I'm still covered nicely in my house and a bit outside.

Hi OP, I tried them all on my Q5 and the best so far for me is 10.3.0.1154. The other builds had problems with either radio and wifi issues especially. This one still isn't as good as the 10.2.1 for wifi connectivity but is the best so far. On the 10.3.1 latest build, putting on the .996 radio did help for the network side but the wifi was dropping on and off too much for me to bare and since the Q5 is used mainly as a backup to my 9900, I use it on wifi mostly. If wifi isn't a concern, then the latest build should be fine as the battery life is good on it and even on the OS I'm using. I used an autoloader to flash it on my device. I have the Passport, Q10 and Q5, and I like the Q5 the best of the 3. Good luck
