My red and white Q5 housing finally arrived from aliexpress today. Changed out my black Q5 to the red.

I couldn't find a video of anyone detaching the lcd screen from the Q5 but it was pretty simple using a blow dryer



I am having troubles with the delete key not working. Not sure what went wrong but I've tried re-placing the old and new keypad and still no luck. I did find a work around to this but it's not ideal

I will use them for different purposes. Passport will be my daily driver to start out. I love the huge screen and flicking on the physical keys. When I want to do some research on youtube, watch a movie or in the mood for that slick virtual keyboard the Z30 will be on stage.

When I go on a fishing trip, work out etc I will be packing the Q5 with a good case. Might make it my mp3 player with a SD card.

The Q10 will be good when I'm more relaxed but still getting stuff done, like errands/groceries and such so I want a smaller form factor and feel the glass weave without a case. If I'm going out socializing with a bunch of iphone and android users then the Passport will be with me. Of course I can switch out whichever phone is my daily driver to my hearts content and all this is subject to change.

Wouldn't all the sim swapping and losing messaging threads, etc, drive you mad?!

Well I can tell you that any sim swapping I have to do is well worth it. I have most of my data in the cloud (Gmail, calendar contacts, evernote, etc) the only switching I have to do is bbm and whatsapp so it really isn't a big deal.

The thing is that since I wrote my initial post my passport has served me well as my daily driver. I haven't found myself 'needing' to switch. It's still fun having all the BB10 form factors though!

I'm typing this on my Q10 using CB10 over wifi. Gonna go and surf the Web on my Z30 now. :-)

I will definitely get the Classic at some point once the price drops. BB10 phones are collector's items for me now. I have many to keep me busy for now so I don't mind waiting for the price to drop. Once the classic hits $199 later this year or next I will add it to my collection. I heard a bronze Classic is coming out which sounds interesting.

What I'd love is a Classic form factor with an even bigger screen, top of the line specs, an excellent camera and a touch enabled 4 row keyboard. That is the ultimate BlackBerry for me.

Yeah and I wouldn't mind betting that blackberry actually makes something like this in the end. I wouldn't want the screen to be too big though, not as big as passport because I think then the device would lose its trademark form factor and become a bit cumbersome in the hand.

The pink one is the best colour. Got one for my daughter and it looks way better than my black one.

The pink one can be difficult to find as they are sold out on shop BlackBerry.

I think you should get the black one. Personally I like a phone in one colour. Since the screen bezel is black I think it looks best on a black model.
