Like the title said, I'll be using an unlocked Q5 in South Korea. I just purchased it in the US and was gonna have it mailed to me, but I wanted to know if it would work with S Korea's carriers. Currently, I use Olleh KT but I could go to LG U+ or SKT if they worked instead. The phone is unlocked and the version is SQR100-2. They have 4G LTE over here, hopefully it is compatible. Anyways, thanks in advance.

    AFAIK,
KT has two deployed LTE bands: 900, and 1800, and one UMTS (i.e. 3G/4G HSPA+) band: 2100
SK Telecom has two LTE as well: 850, and 1800, and one UMTS band: 2100
LG U+ has two LTE also: 850, and 2100. I don't know about their UMTS network.

The SQR100-2 has the following LTE bands: 800, 900, 1800, and 2600, and also the UMTS 2100 band. Therefore KT would be your best option, followed by SK Telecom. I don't know what Olleh KT is, though.

Thanks for the quick response, really appreciate it. KT is Olleh KT, at least that's what I see on their signs wherever I go, maybe I'm wrong. Good to know that it'll work though, super excited to get the phone, haven't had a blackberry for a couple years now and I missed the keyboard sooooo much.
