I have switched from a Z10 to a Q5 - mostly successfully.

The only thing is the BBM Contacts are not appearing on the new device. I have enabled BB Protect on both devices. From what I've been able to glean from Google searches - the contacts should appear on the new device - but they are not.

I've tried to find somewhere to perform a backup of the old device (in BB Protect) so I can run Restore on the new one, but I can't find that function anywhere.

How can I get BB Contacts to come to the new Q5 device?

It should be transfer automatic if you mean bbm contact if you sign in with same bbid

It should populate once you have entered the same BlackBerry ID you used on your Z10. If you dont see it, press and hold the up and down volume keys until it reboots. If you still dont have it, try security wipe and clean install.
