    I am currently running 10.2.1.3247 on my Q5. I want to do a security wipe. I have taken a backup of my data via Link. I believe security wiping the device will bring down the OS to 10.1? So if I restore my data on 10.1. Will it be fine?

    Hi, security wipe will not bring your OS down. It will wipe the data on your Q5

    Don't think it will take you back to 10.1 at all. Pretty sure BlackBerry stopped delivering that. In any case, even if it does... you'll still have to update again as soon as the device is done loading so you'll still be put back onto the most current OS and the restore should go fine.

    Basically I can't restore the 10.2.1.3247 data onto 10.1?
