i just thought i have to try this as i could not understand what is so difficult with removing that.
Well it took me less than 10 seconds and it leaves nothing behind...

Jokes aside, I was advised that this was not designed to be removed by the Phone shop guys as it contained important info.

Any attempts to remove it will leave a partial trace (like a computer security label).

Took me less than 10 seconds though it leaves an outline after you get fingerprints on the back, black version. I removed the outline using alcohol and cotton.
