I have two way authentication on for Outlook.com and Gmail.
When I am signing in Gmail, it opens an in-built browser window (I think) and the process is quite easy.

However, for Outlook.com, it does not give me an option to put in a code so I am stuck. It says the password was changed. The same password is working on the PC, so it's not a forgotten PW issue.

    Is there a solution?

P.S. I hope this is the right thread? BlackBerry Hub thread forum lead me here.

You need to create an "app password" in order to use two way authentication on your phone.

You need to use an app password. Go to security in outlook.com and you will see an option to specify an app password.
