I'm running an official version of BlackBerry 10 and my camera freezes or makes like a 3D effect when taking photos any ideas?

Maybe post a photo you took with your Q5 so us crackberry community members can better assist you? Try restarting the phone too

Does it happen only when taking photos? I mean, u start the phone, open a camera app - boom, phone is frozen.

What OS version do you have? I've been having this problem since 10.2.1.2102 update.

I thought the side loaded Android apps were causing this, but the issue remains even after removing them.

I'll have to find some spare time to try camera files from older OS versions & see if they work.

I had a similar problem today, I started the camera app and got a message like "cannot open camera".
Restarted the phone and now everything is ok.
