My fellow Q5 users, if you go to your settings, accessibility and then click on screen reader BETA you will see many options available, if you disable the option 'enable screen reader using triple tap(of power button) ' this will result in the phone locking quicker when pressing the power button, Its quite nice

Wow, thanks. That's a pretty obscure setting! Didn't know it existed.

Me neither, only found out about it via a convo in another post where I wanted to find an app where I could convert text to speech, so the text would be read aloud, a moderator did reply and guided me to the screen reader BETA, which by the way is not useful at all for just reading out a piece of text, but then regarding activating the screen reader mode I thought this is the same case with the samsung phones whereby if you double tap the home button it activates S voice which slowed down the action of getting back to the home screen so when deactivated the system isnt waiting for the second tap, same case here and now indeed locking the phone is quicker.

That is a good tip. I believe it will work on all BB10 devices. Thanks!

If screen reader is set to on with three presses: then it takes a tad longer for the lock screen to completely turn off. It's not a problem, but it's a nice change.
