I used to read the replies to this problem before, never thinking it would ever happen to me because I use auto loaders, but last week I got an OTA update from BlackBerry but can't install it because I need to clear 1.9G of stuff off my phone!

Was wondering if there was an easy workaround for this now? Not a big deal as I still use autoloaders, but trying to find 1.9G of stuff to delete off your phone when you don't have a lot on it in the first place is frustrating.

    Thanks in advance.

I had this with my wife's q5, so I load the os and radio together through sachesi then the apps. Works like a charm

Always use BlackBerry link, this will eliminate the requirement to have 2.5x the size of the OS free

I have a feeling that OS 10.3.3 will be the final OS update for the Q5 & Z3 simply because there is just simply not enough space to load the OS anymore.

Always clean out the android misc folder from time to time.

It can be a real space pig

Can this folder be cleaned safely or are there files in there that shouldn't be erased?

Ditto, mine is around 700mb but I don't want to delete anything that I shouldn't.

As long as q10 and z10 gets updates q5 and z3 will also be officially supported from blackberry, just because of low internal storage, blackberry not going to miss these two little champs!

OK so I tried Link... 4 times. All 4 times using Link the download crapped out at 20%. So I then wiped the phone figuring the OTA download that got stuck (because of lack of space) was affecting Link. So I tried again after the wipe.. nadda. Link still crapped out at 20%.

Went back to the tried and true autoloader and it works like a charm. I don't know what I would do if I wasn't schooled in autoloaders or Sachesi? I'd be SOL!

BlackBerry should have thought of a better solution for this just saying.
