I have 25 mb broadband speed. 105 mb update should only take minutes at max. Yet every time I try to update it says it failed to update after around 60%. I don't want to use autoloader or sanchesi.

    Use BlackBerry Link then.

Why don't you want to use an autoloader?

Because I have over 30 apps over 20 of which I use regularly. I have set the setting on each and everyone of them. Plus individually set settings on hub calender and all other apps. Not to mention download all apps all over again which costs more data. I had done this just 2 months back. Upgradation shouldn't mean a full format every time.

This is the downside to a device with so little memory.

Backup with Link, reload OS or use autoloader, restore with Link.

I have not had these problems but did wonder what the best approach to updating might be. Do you get less temporary files and storage space used if you update via Blackberry Link as opposed to OTA? And is it necessary to update to 10.3.1 before providers will offer 10.3.2? Thanks for your advice.

Link takes less temporary space on the device compared to OTA, yes.

Nothing is necessary, but it's a nice update.
