Miracast enabled BB devices work, but not with adapters that are designed to connect through EZ-Cast software. Since a lot of the cheaper devices rely on EZ-Cast, that limits compatible devices. I had some success with one of the cheaper adapters, but that device failed at a young age. Netgear PTV3000 seems to work best. I picked up a refurbished one for cheap on ebay.

I also use a netgear ptv. Initally it took forever to sync up but once it did it would then sync fast the next time I used it. One strange thing I found was that if I unplugged the netgears power it went back to a long initial sync, now I just keep it powered on. Overall it's pretty good but anything above webpages or card type game speeds cause it to drop the signal and get all pixilated. Could never watch a movie over it, just too much drop out.

I'm having better results than that. I have watched quite a bit of programming over mine. Not dropping out at all. It's not the greatest picture in the world, but certainly watchable for a lot of content.

Yes it's strange I was a bit disappointed in the performance but can get by with it. I downloaded the latest firmware for the unit but that made no difference. Maybe when 10.3 comes out.

I know some people have solved such problems by updating the product firmware. Have you checked for latest firmware on your LGTV?

For non miracast TV's just use netgear PTV3000. Works well. I can watch movies, play games (I can play GTA vice city with very minor delays), present Powerpoint, Etc.
