The Q5 was my first blackberry over 2 years ago. I enjoyed the keyboard as the clicking sound and the separated keys were very comforting. (I reminded me of a giant Palm Pixi.) One disappointment was learning that T-Mobile WiFi calling wasn't available. It was only on T-Mobile branded Q10 and Z10 so I had to live with that limitation.

When the first update to 10.3 came around I had to almost delete everything to get the update to work. I used Sachesi to do the update as it seemed easy enough and I had already loaded BAR files with it. I didn't realize the power and the simplicity of an autoloader. I used it and finally got WiFi calling and an updated OS.

I also liked the way everything is deleted so I had much more free space and only installed the apps that I know I wanted to use. Battery life seems better and I have an excellent phone once again.

I miss my red Q5 sometimes. Such a good little phone!

And I can't imagine using a BB10 phone without Sachesi. An indispensable tool!

    Enjoy your Q5!

Had the a black Q5 before i upgraded to the Q10. Apart from the sub par 5mp camera, if worked like a beast. The Keyboard never failed me for once. Truth is, i ended up loving the Q10 more. The Glassweave back for grip was a perfect material.
