With blackberry OS 10.2.1 and higher you are able to install android apps because it's running android 4.3 in kind of "sandbox".

If you are running android apps on your BlackBerry device I would recommend antivirus ( LINE etc)

Or you only install android apps from reputable sources and using common sense 2014 edition. Without android apps you won't need any antivirus because BB10 is based on QNX system (linux?)

So about twitter's notifications, why don't I get them on twitter itself, not from BlackBerry hub?

I try not to use that much android apps, and even while using android apps there is nothing to worry about. As you said they run in a 'virtual machine ' like environment.

The spark appears on the app but the notification is received through the Hub... it's more convenient and just the way the OS is made. Otherwise the app needs to be open and checked continuously to check twitter notifications.

Unfortunately I can't help you out on your twitter question, but I know a lot of people use Blaq, Neatly or other apps for twitter you may check them out in BlackBerry World and see if they are more convenient for you.
