    From shopblackberry.com

The Q5 is being sold for $350 while the Q10 is $400. The Q10 was a flagship phone in 2013 with the upgraded specs in nearly all parts in CPU, internal storage, and the camera of the Q5. I'm thinking if I were to pay $350 for a phone, I might as well pay the extra $50 and get the phone that was designed to be a flagship phone to begin with.

And considering the Z10, it was on sale for $200 for a long time, and that phone cost the same as an Iphone 5 when it first launched as a flagship phone.

So what was your reasoning for getting the Q5 with BlackBerry's confusing price strategy? I am sure you could have found the Q5 cheaper but shopblackberry is the standard BlackBerry store.

I think BlackBerry should have priced the Q5 below $200 to compete with the likes of Moto G and the Lumia 525.

You pretty much explained the pricing yourself...

They don't want you to buy a Q5. Q5's can pretty much be picked up ANYWHERE else for cheaper than on ShopBB.

That's how it works. "Hmm...the next model up is only $50 up. Maybe I should buy that."

The Z10 is somewhat of an outlier because they overproduced and ended up with excess inventory in light of actual demand.
