How can I take off the dust under my Q5's screen? It's been so annoying to me

If the phone is under warranty, take it back to the store. I have the same problem

Have you tried wiping it with a soft clean cloth?

How did you get dust under the screen?? Did you mean screen protector? If so, pull it off, clean the screen and put on another screen protector.

Yeah, I also have a very hard time believing these "stories" about dust under the screen. Just can't see how it's possible...

I would advise sending it in to be repaired if under warranty or invert in a Leather Pouch provided by BlackBerry. That will keep it safe and covered.

The only way I could see dust getting under the screen is if the flap covering the sd and sim cards is not properly put back.

I have the same issue! Handset coming up for a year old; hatch for the sim/ data card always closed. Just mildly irritating.

I took and image of a dark background to show this; obviously it's not captured in a screen grab, but I will post something here when I get the cam in my Z30 fixed. ...

There is clearly a Crack in the screen right top corner.

The crack is a new thing. I suspect because it doesn't nestle with my Z30 quite as nicely as it did with my Z10. But the dust has been there for a long time- it's just something that was such a minor annoyance I didn't even think about it.

Overall I love the Q5, dust and all.

I just got a hair under my screen somehow. It looked like a crack but wouldn't wipe off and moves around between the glass and the lcd lol I have no idea how something would get in there. my ear piece speaker is shot form metal debris tho so maybe will use this as an excuse to get some new parts and fix this.

If you keep it in your pant pocket make sure your pocket is clean of dust & lint etc. I'm sure that's how it gets in for most people, better yet try using a shirt pocket instead.

The dust under screen appears to be an insurmountable structural fault - I think it comes through the USB post. FWIW I've found that the additional of the hard shell case (meaning the USB post is recessed and less prominent) has much reduced the amount of new dust I get under the screen.

I now know what you are talking about. Have some dirt under the center of my screen. No idea how it got there either. Odd. Will be getting a Priv soon so not an issue for me, but still annoying!
