1. sorry if i posted this in the wrong category icould not find Q5 anywhere

ok basically i wanna set up my new q5 which i did, when i click bbm it says
'restore using email'
or
'continue'

when i click 'continue'
it says 'you wont be able to restore existing bbm information at a later time'

so im wondering, if i click 'continue', can i not restore my bbm contacts/convos using blackberry link or is this the do or die

btw my old phone is 8520 and new phone is Q5

you should just put your email in and your BBM list will repopulate. As for current convos those will be lost i think. You might have to request to get back in groups also

but is there a way to restore my contact if i was to click continue rather than restore with email ?

for me it always restored after updates without email...
