    Can anyone tell me if the Q5 has HD audio like my Z10. So far I have not seen the HD icon when making a call so I'm suspecting it does not have this feature (which is amazing on my Z10). Just got the phone activated so still playing around. Thanks

    It has HD Voice, just like the Z10 and Q10. Keep in mind, that this feature requires support on both sides of the call and with certain opereators it only works using 3G network service.

    Then Telus is definately wrong. I've made several HD Voice calls with my Q5.

    That looks like a checkmark next to HD Voice to me. I'm pretty sure the Q5 has it.

    I looked it up as well and the website does show HD voice. On my Z10 the display shows HD when available. On my Q5 I don't see this (not so far). Perhaps it doesn't display the HD icon?

    Q5 does have HD.

    Whenever I call my wife I get HD logo on screen because we have the same carrier who support it and she has a pretty good phone.

    Still not getting the HD voice even when calling Iphone 5 and BB10 numbers on the same carrier. Wonder if this is because this is an unlocked Virgin Mobile phone so (I don't think Virgin Mobile has HD voice) operating on the TELUS network. I miss this feature from Z10

    Okay TELUS has confirmed that they don't support HD Voice for grey market devices.
    Not sure what to do now.

    Yes it is available with Q5 too. I could see the HD icon just adjacent to call timer
