Did you reboot the phone? I've had an internal error before when my phone lost network, and a reboot cleared it up. Next option would be contact your carrier and ask if there is a local network issue.
Switch your phone off, re-insert the sim. If that doesn't work, check it on another device. If that fails, proceed with BergerKing's solution of visiting carrier.
Yes I reboot it, and I did what you said.. and try different sim cards but still the same problem..
My passport lost the APN suddenly, too! It does not recognize the SIM. Have you updated to 10.3.1.?
It happened for me without update and the update did not solve it!

Happened to me with a leak, I reloaded the OS through an autoloader.
I came from 10.3.0 on my from Amazon bought passport.
Longly hesitated to run a leak... Now I am ready to do that.
Can you please tell us the last good working leak for SQW 100-1, OS+Radio? Since the update messed up SIM recognition and device stuck in SOS phone...
I want to try 10.3.1 for the passport... I won't necessarily turn back to 10.3.0
What OS version do you suggest?
