    Upgraded OS today on my wife's phone (Q5) to 10.2.1 (over the air; and yes, stupidly didn't backed up prior to upgrade) and lost all contacts/numbers. Managed to retrieve e-mail addresses through Google, but all phone numbers still missing. Any ideas how to fix this mess? Thanks!

    They didn't come down with the Google sync? Unless you had a backup somewhere, they're gone. Or did you back up to your carrier's cloud perhaps?

    Google sync didn't do the job, sadly! However I managed to transfer contacts now from her old phone with deviceswitch.com! Thanks for help anyway!
