I'm a q5 owner and I have no reason to change that fact.
But since there's only a marginal difference between the price tags I would go for the Q10. It has better specs and higher built quality.

Q10 is better...but the Q5 is more reliable. And the Q5 has a better keyboard. Sure, it's a simpler and cheaper device (and it really feels like it compared to the Q10), but that is a good thing in this case imo.

Former Q5 and Q10 user here. I prefer the Q5 for the chicalet style keyboard and to me it looks better but....if you are into taking pictures and downloading apps then you should consider the Q10. Q5 camera is downright embarrassing when there is not enough available light.

If it was a choice between those two .i would def go with Q10 just over all I feel that get more for the money and the LTE Is nice to have. And the build is really nice.

Everybody here trying to convince you on personal preference As a Q10 owner as already stated I would go with a Q5. Save a 100$ now so that in one year you can go with a new flagship or with a PassPort that will for sure cost around 300-350$. Right now a Q10 it's worth 300$,don't get me wrong, but in 1 year a PassPort for the same price will be worth even more. Save some money and get a Q5 which is more solid (I made a post months ago: gf's Q5 dropped from the 4th floor and not even a scratch), with a better battery and with no keyboard issues My 2 cents..

Great time to buy Q5 or Q10 if you're in USA or Canada. I would personally choose the red or white version of the Q5

Two Q10s and have never had the double type issue. Thinking of getting a Q5 for my collection though lol. Probably wouldn't ever use it though. The bottom black border disallows for more more screen space. Sort of annoying to me. Q10 all the way.

I have both the Q10 (main phone) and Q5 (backup). I vote for the Q5 and am actually considering switching them to make the Q5 my main phone. Q5 has a better and clickier keyboard; my Q10 has a slight double typing issue but minimal and not as bad as some of the others. Q5 also has a better battery life.

Hi,

I've only used the BlackBerry Q5. Have had it for about 4 months. Got it because it was half the price of a Q10. Also, I was hesitant to invest in a Q10 due to the "double typing" issue.

Whatever you decide to buy, at the end of the day, the BlackBerry experience will always be there. That's what's important ultimately. Cheers.

My BlackBerry Q5 has LTE. So are you referring to a specific carrier not offering LTE on their BlackBerry Q5s?

The Blackberry Q5 has an LCD display, which is much brighter than the Q10's Amoled display. There is no burn in on a Q5, no double typing crap either.

I'd take the Q5. No questions asked.

And who ever used to say there are stainless steel frets on the front of a Q10, is a liar. When their silver paint wears off of them, you'll see what I mean. Pure marketing B.S. The frets are plastic, covered with silver paint on the front of a Q10. This is coming from a Machinist, just to make you aware.
