I just updated my OS to 10.2.1. After the update I cannot change my wallpaper.

Need help please.

When you pick a wallpaper, does the screen just darken without anything happening?

In that case, try to edit an image through the File Manager, close the photo editor then try to pick a wallpaper again.

Thanks for the reply. Actually i cannot select a wallpaper when i go to display settings.

What exactly happens? Is the wallpaper option simply not shown or are you unable to select one after you tapped the specific change wallpaper option?

When I go to display settings to change my wallpaper, I tap "Select Wallpaper" and nothing happens. It's still on the display settings page.

I reboot my handset and still nothing when I try the same process.

Try a hard reset. Hold the volume up and volume down buttons down for 20 secs or until the device resets.

Wouldnt that restore my handset to factory settings and erase all my files?

No that's a security wipe in settings. A hard reset is safe.

What happens if you go to the item, long press and choose "set as" and "wallpaper"?

I cannot actually go to the item itself. Nothing happens when i tap "select wallpaper" is display settings. Before the update, when I tap "Select Wallpaper " I am redirected to the sets of wallpapers available, now nothing. Nothing happens when I tap "Select Wallpaper."

Could always try reloading the OS again.

Are you wanting to use a stock wallpaper, or do you want to use your own?
If you want to use your own, then open your photo album ,select the picture and save as a wallpaper threw the options
If you want to save a downloaded picture, go to file manager and select the picture from the device or memory card or wherever you saved it
