So I recently updated my OS to 10.2.0.424 and ever since then when I take a picture with the flash the picture is very dark I mean darker than if I had left the flash off. Any idea why?

Maybe the capturing is delay. The flash has a faster effect than capture. I think.

I just checked this out on mine after being updated 2 days ago and having the geeks at the BB center look at it today sorting out other issues and much to my my surprise the camera now is rubbish.

There have been too many issues with my Z10 and after years of Good service from Blackberry the problems I have had with my Z10 this past week have pi$$ed me off so much that it will be a change of brand tomorrow.

Exactly the problem i came across after updating to 10.2, dark pictures were being taken by the q5's camera with flash on so after alot of searching and with the help of georges i downloaded OS 10.1 and installed it on my Q5 with the autoloader..I am posting links here, follow the instructions reload ur device back to 10.1 and u shud be fine.

Download 10.1 for Q5, After downloading unzip the file, open it, command window will open and thn connect ur device to the computer via USB and the rest will happen itself within 10 mins ur phone will be back to normal

same issue with my q5. after the update any pic that i take with flash comes out to be dark. i ll either wait for the new official update or install 10.2.1 leak if available.

Did anyone try a security wipe after the update, to see if issue gets fixed ?

I'm having the same issue. Downgraded OS to 10.1 and it worked for a bit and now it stopped. Wiped and reloaded 10.1 and issue persists...I'm at a loss...please help!!
