Best Buy Canada also has them for $99 and they will ship it to you for free. Same company as Future Shop, so no surprise, but you also get BB Reward Zone points.

That's a sweet deal! Still a bit pricey ($260 CDN) where I'm from.

    Thanks Elessar.cm - I appreciate the gesture.
Everybody likes a sweet deal and this is a good one. No double stickers on these phone like ShopBB )
Gives an opportunity to purchase a spare BB for next to nothing and possibly bring in more users to the family. I would think that users could use a spare phone just in case their main unit has to go for repairs. Instead of purchasing carrier/manufacturer replacement insurance why not buy a spare BB. I think it's also a good way to have a test bed phone to practice leaks & different apps without crapping your main BB phone.
    Enough of my ramblings.
    Tx again.

This is a great deal, I picked up one of these at the regular price of $129.99 for my girlfriend last week and she absolutely loves it.

So basically you guy are saying that you can buy the phone for $99, there is no activation fee, pull the Telus sim, unlock and then slide your own carriers sim in and good to go?

If that's the case I may pick one up. I need a backup phone as my q10 is having issues. Don't want to waste my upcoming upgrade on anything but the new slider!

Redflagdeals.com forum has a few members who charge less than $15. I used jimbowski twice with less than 24 hours turn around.

Cool. Just ordered one to back up my glitchy q10 until the end of my contract in 6 months time. Then the GF will probably get it as a replacement for her Curve! lol

You may not miss your Q10 after getting the Q5. My advice is to buy an inexpensive soft gel case to give it a little more mass, and a little more grip. Then it's a solid machine.

Yes $89.99 now at Future Shop and they credited back the difference for me as I purchased one last weekend for $99.99. Best Buy still shows $99.99 in store though
