Not sure if it is a q5 issue, or MY q5. Turn by turn directions never work on my q5. Always says gps isn't working or something like that. So I turn on wireless hotspot and use my moto g when I get lost in the city.

It's more of a Maps issue than a Q5 issue. I sometimes have the same issue with Maps when I'm trying to find places. Either it takes foreeeeever to sort out a route or it just doesn't at all. However, when I switch to Google Maps I have no problems. So really its just the inconsistency of Maps.

I understand it's been fixed of all these bugs in the Blackberry 10.3.1 OS update due to launch in November.

I never seem to have the GPS or Maps applications working in my q5. I wonder if that is the same with every Q5??

Mine works alright.

The map details are definitely lacking but otherwise turn by turn/ voice navigation works ok. I've used it in three different cities/ states.

Otherwise get Google Maps from Snap.
